Exclusive to Midwinter Yarns!
The Ochils Bag is a roomy and sturdy project bag hand made by us here at Midwinter HQ, and features a triple internal pocket with space for notebooks and a pen.
The bag closes with a roll-down construction, so it can roll down to however small the contents allow and grow along with your project. The metal clasp then forms a handy strap to carry the bag with, or hang off your arm if working on the go.
Due to travel restrictions this year, I have not been able to travel to France to buy more of the vintage linen fabric that I normally use for these bags. Instead, I have turned to Scotland's last linen mill that we are lucky enough to have locally, and they have provided us with this beautiful, cotton/linen blend with my favourite herringbone texture.
The outer is still hand dyed in a mottled shade of mossy green, and the bag is lined with a cute print of skipping cartoon sheep on a natural background.
It is shown with 5 x 100gr hanks of yarn inside in the last picture, to give you an idea of space.
Height (unrolled): 27cm / 10.5 inches
Width at top: 33 cm / 13 inches
Depth (at base) : 15 cm / 6 inches
Due to the hand dyed nature of this fabric, some colour variation may occur around the bag - this Moss colour in particular is almost space dyed in places.
