Snældan is a traditional wool producer founded in 1949. Their gorgeous heritage yarns are still processed in their workshop by the shore of the fjord at Strendur in the Faroe Islands.
Snaeldan's hard-working yarn is made from Faroese wool which is then blended with wool from the Falkland Islands. The sheep on the Falkland Islands are 7/8ths Merino, adding softness this crisp, lanolin-rich wool.
